From 18 May 2020  the Government of Western Australia has started to lift the restrictions for gatherings but all businesses must have a Covid Safety Plan in place.

The current restrictions are as follows:

  • Non-work indoor and outdoor gatherings of up to 100 people per single undivided space, and up to 300 people in total per venue over multiple spaces.

  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times. This means keeping a distance of at least 1.5 metres away from other people, unless they are from the same household.

  • Adhere to the revised 2m2 rule per person.

  • Keep the hugs and handshakes for later, it is not to be offered at this time. 

  • Chairs must be set at a distance of 1.5 metres apart.


Please keep the social distancing rule when you socialise at the end of any meeting.


Please provide hand sanitiser at the entrance of the venue or house, and its use is encouraged, unless there is a valid reason not to, such as intolerance or skin irritation.  Please provide liquid soap and paper towels in bathrooms and the kitchen.


All attendees will be required to provide their name and contact details.  Data collected will not be be used for any purpose other than contact tracing in the event of suspected exposure to the Covid 19 virus.


It is the responsibility of the group leader to ensure attendees adhere to all of the above regulations.
